EDNA (CARLSON) WILSON

Edna Pauline (Carlson) Wilson, 86, formerly from Lake Orion and Commerce Township, Michigan, passed away March 31, 2020 at Village Manor in Howell, Michigan.

In accordance with Edna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life was held on Oct. 17 in White Cloud.  Memorials for one’s favorite charity made be sent in care of Herrmann Funeral Home, Fowlerville, Mich. 

 

HARLEY “DEAN” ANDERSON
Fremont

Harley “Dean” Anderson, 81, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020. 

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont. You can bring your own lawn chair and umbrella, and masks are optional. 

Suggested memorial is The Alzheimer’s Association.

KATHLEEN KRUITHOFF
Grant

Kathleen May Kruithoff, 82, of Grant, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Grant Christian Reformed Church, with Pastor Ben McKnight, officiating. Visitation took place one hour prior to the start of the service.

Memorials are suggested to the Grant Christian School or the MPS Society (www.mpssociety.org).

ALFRED “AL” BUSCH
Fremont

Alfred “Al” Busch, age 95, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020. 

A private family graveside service was held at Reeman Cemetery on Friday, Oct. 16, with Pastor Les VanDyke officiating. 

Suggested memorials are The Fremont Area Community Foundation for either the Fremont Christian School Endowment Fund, or for the Reeman Christian Reformed Church Endowment Fund.

MARIE PEGGY COLLAR
White Cloud

Marie Peggy Collar, 93, of White Cloud, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 at her home. 

Visitation was held on her 94th birthday, on Tuesday, Oct, 20, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel with Funeral Services at 2 p.m. at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel.

Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Salvation Army in memory of Peggy.  Friends may send a condolence, share a memory, or share a photo with the Collar family online at www.crandellfh.com.  

Family members and friends not able to attend the services may watch the funeral services via Zoom and will need to contact the funeral home for the Zoom link information prior to the services.

Friends may choose to listen to the Peggy’s funeral services via radio broadcasting on their car radios in the funeral home parking lot on the day of the services by tuning their radios to 99.9 starting five minutes prior to the services starting.

Grant

Janet Ann McClain, 79, of Grant, went to her Heavenly Home on Oct. 15, 2020 in Fremont.

The funeral service for Janet was held on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Grant Wesleyan Church, 688 W 112th St., Grant, MI 49327. Burial will take place in the Parkview Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 129 Jefferson Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.

Newaygo

Alice Louise Davis, 81, a beloved resident of Newaygo, passed away early Friday morning, October 16, 2020 at the Newaygo County Compassion Home in White Cloud.

A Graveside Service was held on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 20 at Hillside Cemetery near Grant with Pastor Greg Johnson officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Sue Hicks-Piefer, 69, passed away on October 16, 2020 into the loving arms of Jesus with her family by her side.
