Max H. Luchies, 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday afternoon, July 15, 2019. 

A luncheon and time to visit with the family took place on Monday afternoon, July 22, in the Fellowship Hall of First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Fremont Christian School.

Formerly of Fremont

Harlow W. Redding Jr., 81, of Ada and formerly of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel, 7193 W. 48th Street in Fremont with Celebration of Life Services at 6 p.m. at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. 

In lieu of flowers, friends may consider the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans or Spectrum Health Hospice for memorial contributions.

MARK PURCEY
Reed City

Mark D. Purcey, 65, of Reed City, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

A small private burial has taken place at Crandall Cemetery in Ensley Township. A gathering for friends and family took place on Saturday, July 20 at the Reed City Depot.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to either Right to Life of Michigan or Alpha Family Center, Cedar Springs.

JOYCE HILL
Fremont

Joyce M. (Mueller) Hill, 80, of Fremont and formerly of Muskegon, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. 

Funeral Services were held on Friday, July 19, at the Fremont United Methodist Church in Fremont with Pastor Julie Fairchild presiding with interment in the Mona View Cemetery in Muskegon.

Friends may consider memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice in memory of Joyce.

NORMAN L. OCHS
White Cloud

Norman L. Ochs, 79, of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Grand Oaks Nursing Center in Baldwin following his battle with cancer. 

The Mass of Christian Burial along with military honors were  held on Tuesday, July 23 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud with interment in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Samuel Omogo Foundation for water wells.

Indiana & Newaygo

James Dry, 97, of Long Beach, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at his home.

Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, July 28 at Long Beach Community Center, 2501 Oriole Trail, Michigan City, IN from 2-5 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 4:30 p.m.
